High School Football

Tonight was middle school band night at the high school, which means that the seventh and eighth graders were invited to come and play with the HHS marching band at the football game. So we went to a high school football game -- probably the first one I've been to since -- well -- high school.

We sat with Steve, Shelly and Anita, and had a great time. It was an enjoyable game -- final score was HHS 21 and Princeton 20. The game went into overtime, and Princeton lost by the extra point. They were very disappointed. We were glad that there was not another set of overtime periods.

I must say that the Princeton band was really great. You would think that by now someone would have written some new band music -- "I Can See for Miles and Miles," "Vehicle," and even "The Age of Aquarius."

Images: The sunset on the high school hill was beautiful. This photo, I must admit, was altered on Image Zone -- exposure reduced -- but I really liked the effect. Second photo is of the Middle school band students.
