Redbud

Do you recognize the tree to the right? It's redbud. In our part of the country, redbud is one of the first trees to bloom in the spring. As I drive down the interstate, and see the redbud blooming (it's actually a pink/purple color), I know that spring is on its way. It stands in sharp contrast to the leafless trees of winter.
Redbud is a harbinger of change.

Someone at church said to me today, "There is a lot of change happening." It's true, and it's especially true for our church.

It is also true for me. Change is coming.
