Hope

Hope.

Hope isn't wishing. Hope isn't dreaming of what might be.

Hope in God is like the knowledge of the coming of spring. No matter how cold it is, how much snow has fallen and how many inches of rain fell that immediately turned to ice, no matter how many days the kids have off from school, there is still the knowledge that eventually spring will come.

Hope in God is the confidence in his active presence in our lives even in darkness. We don't wish for his to be in our lives. We know that he is. That is our hope.
